The operation, carried out by the Guàrdia Urbana and the Mossos d’Esquadra, focused on the designated districts of Figueres with the primary goal of controlling reckless motorcycle driving and detecting other traffic infractions.

The action resulted in the seizure of four motocross motorcycles, which were taken to the municipal depot. Authorities reported that one bike was listed as stolen, and another had a manipulated chassis number.

Furthermore, during the same operation, 44 vehicles were fined for parking violations. Penalties were mainly issued for parking on sidewalks and in unauthorized areas, hindering pedestrian movement.

This joint police effort reinforces road safety measures and compliance control in areas of Figueres where risky behavior, particularly involving the misuse of motocross bikes, had previously been identified.
