The renovation and improvement works on the surface of several municipal roads in Garrigàs will commence on Wednesday, October 14. This project, supported by a collaboration agreement between the Diputació de Girona, the Garrigàs City Council, and, on shared sections, the Palau de Santa Eulàlia City Council, aims to enhance road safety and driving comfort.
Affected areas include Carrer Balcó de l’Empordà, a section of Carrer de la Costa, Carrer Gran (from the City Council to the GIV-6226 road), and the access road to Camí dels Rentadors d’Ermedàs from the GIV-6226.
Previously, the city councils carried out vegetation pruning, clearing, root removal, and ditch cleaning to facilitate the execution of the works.
During the approximately three days of work, particularly between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, traffic disruptions are expected. Heavy vehicles will use alternating passage, while other vehicles will need to use alternative routes. Respect for temporary signage and instructions from the work personnel is requested.
