The aid, maintained for another year, is intended for students registered in Castelló d'Empúries and enrolled in a municipal educational center, from 1st grade of primary to 4th grade of ESO. The maximum aid amount is 50 euros per student.
The Councilor for Education, Laura Guerrero, highlighted that the call aims to "continue supporting families during a time of year that involves many expenses and contribute, from the City Council, to reducing the cost of starting the school year."
The municipal aid is exclusively for textbooks and school supplies designated by the educational centers. If a school voucher discount or any other aid has been applied, only the amount effectively paid by the family will be considered.
To apply for the aid, applicants must submit the application form (annex I), duly completed and signed, along with the invoice, ticket, or purchase receipt. The receipts must clearly identify the items purchased. For first-time applicants or if data has changed, additional documentation such as the DNI or NIE of the parent or legal guardian will be required.
Applications can be submitted until September 30, 2026, either online through the City Council's Electronic Office or in person at the OMAC offices in Centre històric or Empuriabrava. All information and documentation can be found on the municipal website.
