The Catalan Government presented its 2026 budget proposal this Friday, allocating 46.4 million euros for key projects in the Alt Empordà region.

This investment makes Alt Empordà the second most funded region in the Girona province. The main project is the PLEMCAT offshore wind laboratory in the Gulf of Roses, which is set to receive 31.5 million euros.
Additional funding will go towards the Gonçal Comellas School in Avinyonet de Puigventós and road improvements on the C-252 between Figueres and Peralada.
