Authorities have fully reopened the AP-7 highway in la Jonquera this Thursday afternoon, following the end of truck traffic restrictions caused by severe wind conditions.

The AP-7 highway in la Jonquera is now fully operational for both cars and trucks heading towards France. French authorities lifted the restrictions on heavy vehicles shortly after 3:00 PM as the VENTCAT weather alert conditions improved.
Traffic remains congested with approximately 12 kilometers of queues reported between Borrassà and Pont de Molins. Earlier today, trucks were diverted through the Llers exit to manage parking and avoid border blockages.
Most other wind-related incidents across Catalonia, including fallen trees on roads such as the C-31 in Castelldefels and the N-260 in the Pyrenees, have been resolved by emergency services.
