CF Peralada secured an important 0-1 victory against San Cristóbal this Sunday at Ca n'Anglada, firmly maintaining their position in the fight for promotion spots in the Tercera RFEF league.

When Peralada takes the lead, their ability to defend the result becomes their greatest strength. This pattern was repeated at Ca n'Anglada, where the team successfully resisted the local pressure from San Cristóbal after a strong first half performance.
The only goal of the match arrived in the 25th minute, scored by Biel Carreras, who finished with a crossed shot following a quick play. Unfortunately, the winger from Vilablareix, a key player for coach Àlex Marsal, had to be substituted shortly after due to an injury.
In the second half, Peralada adopted a low block, allowing the Terrassa side to take the initiative. Despite San Cristóbal's ball possession, clear chances were scarce until the final minute of added time, when goalkeeper Arnau Fàbrega made a crucial point-blank save.
With this victory, Peralada overtakes l'Escala and moves into sixth place in the Tercera RFEF standings. The team remains just two points behind Vilanova, who holds the fifth position. Their next match will be at home on Sunday against Mollerussa.
