The work of renowned American filmmaker David Lynch, known for transporting viewers to worlds of dreams and mystery, is the focus of the fifth edition of the surrealist film cycle at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres. The exhibition includes screenings of three of his most iconic titles.
The sessions, with free admission and no reservation required, will take place in Gala-Dalí Square. The cycle kicks off this Thursday, August 6th, with a screening of Eraserhead (1977), the director's debut film, described as a disturbing surrealist story.
On Thursday, August 13th, a selection of the director's short films, the genre with which he began his career, will be shown. Finally, the cycle will conclude on August 20th with the screening of the pilot episode of Twin Peaks, a series that marked television history and captivated over fifty million viewers in the United States.
