The team, coached by Maxi Ponzetti, played four matches in their home town. On Thursday, they secured a decisive victory against Benidorm with a score of 4-10. However, Friday and Saturday saw them suffer defeats against Cádiz and Barcelona.
The round concluded on Sunday with renewed joy for the local team, who thrashed the bottom-placed side, Santamaría, by a clear 8-2. These results have allowed the club to move out of the danger zone in the standings.
With these nine points, Roses Platja moves up one place, surpassing Atlético Torroxeño, and is no longer in the bottom three positions. The club is already looking ahead to the next event, as from July 3rd to 5th, the women's competition will take place in Roses, marking the end of the beach soccer tour in the town.
