The Mayor of Sant Climent Sescebes, Marc Sala, mocked the lack of wind this Thursday following the Government's decision to suspend educational and cultural activities across the Alt Empordà region.

Despite official warnings that led to the closure of schools and sports facilities, the expected wind storm did not materialize by midday. Local leaders in Figueres and other municipalities have expressed their frustration with preventive measures they consider disconnected from local reality.

"I even had stones ready to put in my pockets. I am demoralized because I expected something and in the end, nothing."
