The Festes del Carme in Empuriabrava began this Tuesday with a day that combined family activities, innovation, and music, attracting numerous residents and visitors.
The afternoon started with the family show La tempesta de l’oceà in the Plaça de les Palmeres, marking the start of five days of celebrations.
The highlight of the day was the premiere of the Drone Show Festival in Empuriabrava, which drew thousands of people to the promenade. For the first time, the town hosts this event, which debuted with a large attendance and two light shows.
The audience enjoyed the shows El Somni d’Empuriabrava x300, a tribute to the local identity, and Odyssey x300, inspired by the universe, featuring a choreography of 300 drones synchronized with music.
The day concluded with the mobile disco Flame, creating a festive atmosphere.
The mayor, Anna Massot, positively assessed the festival's premiere, stating that "Empuriabrava is the ideal setting for hosting top-level events" and that it reinforces the town's tourist positioning.
Massot encouraged people to attend the upcoming drone shows and discover the rest of the activities planned for the Festes del Carme.
The festivities will continue with a varied program for all audiences, combining traditional activities, music, and new experiences.
