Figueres Secures Draw in Parets to Stay Clear of Relegation Zone

UE Figueres earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Parets this Saturday, a result that keeps the team from the Alt Empordà region just above the relegation spots in Primera Catalana.

The visitors took the lead in the 35th minute thanks to a goal by Xavi Ferrón. Despite controlling much of the game, a defensive error in the second half allowed Ferran Roca to equalize for the home side in the 62th minute.
The match ended with high tension after Ot Agné was sent off in the 73rd minute following a second yellow card. Figueres held on to the draw and remains tied on points with Premià in the league standings.
