A group of users of the Figueres municipal swimming pool expressed their dissatisfaction this February regarding poor maintenance and technical issues with the facility's access system.

Swimmers in Figueres have reported several structural deficiencies affecting the daily operation of the facility. According to a collective letter, the changing rooms have lighting issues, showerheads are clogged with lime, and mold has been found on the ceilings, raising public health concerns.
Beyond the physical state of the building, complaints focus on the new access control system. The current method requires users to rely on a mobile phone and a QR code, a system that frequently breaks down and causes unnecessary queues at the entrance of the municipal sports hall.

"All of this generates discomfort, annoyance, and unnecessary queues to access a municipal service that should be comfortable and efficient."
