Security forces have carried out a significant customs operation in La Jonquera, intercepting a trailer transporting a large quantity of marijuana. The drug was cleverly hidden among boxes of appliances.
The operation, conducted on August 4th, is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking at Catalonia's northern border. Officers discovered the narcotic substance during a routine inspection of the vehicle.
Authorities are still conducting the relevant investigations to determine the origin and final destination of the illegal merchandise, as well as to identify all individuals involved in this drug trafficking network.
