Junts per Catalunya Alt Empordà has publicly communicated its disagreement with the no-confidence motion presented by its councillors in Pont de Molins, calling it a decision made outside the party's scope.

The party Junts per Catalunya Alt Empordà has publicly announced its distancing from the no-confidence motion presented this week by its three councillors in the Pont de Molins Town Council. The motion, filed alongside an ERC councillor, aimed to change the mayor. The regional leadership has expressed its “perplexity and disagreement” regarding a decision that, they claim, was made without consensus from either the regional or Vegueria leadership.
The party lamented that this political initiative follows a municipal term already marked by “various episodes of confusion and disarray”. The executive of Junts per Catalunya in Alt Empordà added that they are “preparing a candidacy for next year's elections”. This new list will be “completely renewed” and composed of “individuals involved with the associative fabric and entities of our town, young and capable people, eager to work”, with the aim of looking after the residents' needs and working towards the municipality's opportunities.
