The Roman Forum of Empúries, in l'Escala, served as the stage for the Portalblau Festival, hosting two concerts that successfully sold out all tickets. Music from the Valencian Country took center stage with performances by Naina and La Fúmiga, who are at very different stages of their careers.
Naina was the first to take the stage, accompanied by two dancers, and connected with the audience from the first song, Serà millor, from her EP Atrevida. Her repertoire included protest songs like Enamorar-me de mi and Al meu país, dedicated to the Valencian lands. The artist emphasized the importance of fighting for their language and territory before concluding her performance with Pecat original.
Next, La Fúmiga delivered one of their final concerts as part of their farewell tour, L’últim abraç. The group presented an emotional show with songs like Finals, Penúltima, and Ja no fa mal, combining wind instruments, vocals, and screens.
In a notable moment, Naina joined La Fúmiga on stage to perform Que tia! together. During La Fúmiga's concert, references were made to the site's history as a Mediterranean meeting point and the importance of singing in their own language. Fragments of speeches by former Valencian president Carlos Mazón and emeritus king Juan Carlos were projected, which were met with boos from the audience before they sang Monstres i gegants.
With sold-out tickets, approximately 1,800 people enjoyed this musical celebration. La Fúmiga revisited well-known tracks like Fotosíntesi and Mediterrània, considered an anthem, and concluded their performance with Covards, Havia de passar, and Ja dormiré. The concert ended with Gràcies per tant, expressing gratitude for their years of career, and with a fan raising a Valencian flag.
