The victim was traveling in one of the two vehicles that collided head-on on Monday on the GI-623 road. As a result of the impact, the driver of the other car died at the scene.
Currently, the front passenger of the deceased woman's car and the driver of the second vehicle remain hospitalized at Trueta Hospital in serious condition.
With this tragic event, the number of fatalities in road accidents in Catalonia during 2026 has risen to 81 people.
