A resident of Cantallops has denounced the cancellation of his urological surgery at Figueres Hospital this Thursday due to the government's wind weather alert.

Albert Campsolinas, 52, had been on the waiting list for nine months. Despite the general alert across Catalonia, the patient claims that in Alt Empordà the weather was perfect, with no significant wind recorded.

"They cancelled my operation due to the wind alert, yet in Figueres it is the most fantastic day of the last three months."

The patient criticized the Generalitat de Catalunya for its centralized management, arguing that measures should be adapted to local conditions. He highlighted the economic impact on local markets and families.
The Figueres Hospital management stated the cancellation followed the Government's official order to suspend non-urgent medical activity. The hospital has apologized to all affected patients for the inconvenience.
