Peralada hosts league leader Cornellà seeking an upset for the second consecutive week

CF Peralada will face the Tercera Federación leader, Cornellà, this Sunday at 4:30 PM at the Municipal de Peralada stadium, seeking a crucial victory to approach the play-off zone.

For the second consecutive week, Peralada will face the top team in the league standings. After achieving a valuable draw (1-1) against the then-leader, Badalona, the 'xampanyers' now host the team that took advantage of that result to move into first place: Cornellà.
The match, corresponding to the nineteenth round, will be played on Sunday afternoon. Peralada, currently in eighth place, is five points below the play-off zone and needs to secure points to close the gap.
The goal is to surprise the team led by Ignasi Senabre, which has shown great consistency and has not lost a match since the fifth league round. This streak tests the competitive capacity of the squad managed by Àlex Marsal.
Peralada's main source of hope lies in the precedent set in the first round. On the second matchday, the 'xampanyers' were the only team, along with Badalona, capable of defeating Cornellà (1-2). Furthermore, the striker Master Omar Kanteh, who scored a brace in that game, returns to the squad after serving a one-match suspension.
