The Figueres Local Police and the National Police carried out a joint operation this February to inspect four residential properties in the city where sexual activities were being conducted.

The police action focused on apartments located on Compositor Juncà, Rodes, and Borrassà streets. During the raids, officers identified eight women working in prostitution, three clients, and two individuals responsible for managing the premises.
The intervention resulted in three summonses for violations of the Immigration Law. Additionally, one woman was taken to the National Police station to provide a statement regarding a potential case of sexual exploitation.
Furthermore, officers issued a report for a breach of data protection regulations. This violation is linked to unauthorized video surveillance systems found in one of the inspected properties.
