An electrical failure has affected several parts of Figueres, leaving hundreds of residents without power for several hours, mainly in the northern and central sectors of the city.

Several sectors of Figueres experienced a power outage this afternoon due to a widespread failure. The municipal Guàrdia Urbana (Local Police) alerted to the situation around 2 PM.
Although Endesa reported the resolution of most of the incident shortly after, approximately 200 residents near Sant Joan Baptista Street remained without power until 5 PM. This prolonged outage was caused by a specific failure in the transformer located on that same street.
