Around 150 people, called by various entities, gathered this midday in Figueres to express their rejection of what they have termed a "cocktail of projects" planned for Empordà. The protest has primarily focused on projects related to renewable energy production, such as the PLATER and the offshore wind farm in Roses.
The demonstrators have also shown their opposition to the expansion of Logis Empordà and the project to move the train station from the center of Figueres to Vilafant. During the gathering, attendees used whistles and banged pots and pans to voice their discontent.
