The funds raised, which will be donated entirely to the foundation, are expected to exceed the 30,000 euros achieved in the previous edition. This figure reflects the public's involvement in an event that has become a festive day of support for cancer research.
In the sporting field, runner Gard Pauline was the winner of the race, followed by Natalia Martínez and Lorena Rondan. The organization highlighted the generational diversity of the participants, ranging from the oldest person to the youngest, who was only ten days old.
With nineteen years of uninterrupted history, the race remains a pioneering initiative in the Girona region. Organizers are already preparing the twentieth edition, noting that the event has maintained its continuity even during periods of health restrictions.
