Strong Tramuntana winds affecting the Alt Empordà region this Saturday, February 14th, have forced l'Escala and Roses to modify their Carnival parades.

In l'Escala, the children's parade has been replaced by an indoor costume gathering at the Sala Polivalent. Meanwhile, Roses city council has asked groups to park unstable floats to avoid risks.

"Safety is a priority so that we can continue enjoying Carnival in the best possible conditions."
