Emergency services have been searching since Wednesday for a missing submariner in Cadaqués. The woman was swept away by the sea current while diving in the s'Encalladora reserve, off Cap de Creus.

The alert was received shortly before noon, when the submariner's companion reported that they had encountered a problem during their dive and the current had separated them. The man managed to return to the boat, but the woman could not and has not been located since.
An extensive search operation has been launched by sea, land, and air, although the priority is the aquatic zone. Participants include the Bomberos de la Generalitat (Firefighters of Catalonia) with seven units, including a helicopter, drone unit, and underwater unit, the maritime services of the Cadaqués Town Council, the Guardia Civil, and Salvamento Marítimo (Maritime Rescue).
Sources from the Fire Department indicate that there has been no news of the missing person so far. Although it is not ruled out that she may have reached land elsewhere along the coast, the search is primarily focused on the maritime area.
