The measure follows the VENTCAT emergency plan alert activated by Civil Protection. Northbound trucks are being diverted at Llers to park in la Jonquera, while southbound traffic is redirected to the N-II road.
The Meteorological Service of Catalonia predicts the strongest winds will impact Alt Empordà, Ripollès, and Garrotxa starting at noon. Authorities expect the wind intensity to gradually decrease throughout the late afternoon.
