The incident began when the occupants of a vehicle refused to provide identification or allow a search of their car. According to municipal sources, the situation escalated into a public disturbance, leading to charges of resistance and disobedience against the two individuals.

The vehicle was seized and taken to the municipal pound for further inspection. The suspects, who have no prior criminal record, were held overnight at the Mossos d'Esquadra police station.
