Local resident Isidre Solé has inaugurated the 22nd edition of the La Guàrdia nativity scene, a miniature recreation of the village center open for visits inside the church until the Candlemas celebration.

For twenty-two consecutive years, Isidre Solé, a resident of the hamlet of La Guàrdia, has been recreating the houses and corners of the village in miniature, a work done with patience and dedication that has become a symbol of perseverance and love for the locality.
The nativity scene is special because it faithfully reproduces the core of La Guàrdia with scale replicas of its houses. The project began with a simple table featuring the Nativity, the hermitage, and the parish church, and has grown to occupy about 40 m² and include 22 houses full of details.

"Every year I put the same enthusiasm into it as the first day, but I also seek to ensure the continuity of this tradition."

This year, Solé has incorporated a new house located in the plaça de l’Escola (School Square), crafted with his usual care and artisanal precision. After fifteen days of assembly, the nativity scene is now open for visitors inside the village church.
The exhibition will remain open until the Candlemas celebration. Visitors can arrange their visit directly with Isidre Solé, who is in charge of opening the church and welcoming the curious with kindness.
