After a month and a half without securing three points at home, the team managed by David Gurillo broke the negative streak. This triumph places L'Escala in fifth position, with thirty points, tied with Hospitalet and Manresa, the current fourth-place team.
Striker Umaru opened the scoring in the 20th minute, confirming his excellent form. However, Grama responded just before halftime with a goal from former L'Escala forward Martí Alonso, leveling the score at one goal apiece.
The victory, the first at home in a month and a half, allows L'Escala to face the second half of the season with maximum ambition.
In the second half, the home side showed greater intensity. Adri Expósito made it 2-1 in the 55th minute. The situation became complicated in the 70th minute with the sending off of Elian, but Hugo García proved decisive by scoring the 3-2 goal in the 76th minute, securing the victory despite a late reaction from Grama.
The Alt Empordà team's next commitment will be next Sunday, when they visit Europa B, a team currently going through a difficult period, aiming to consolidate their play-off position.
