The Egarenc side, coached by Cristian Garcia, had accumulated five draws and two victories, but Biel's early goal proved decisive in breaking their streak. The match was lackluster for the home team, who dominated possession but were unable to generate clear scoring opportunities until the final ten minutes.
The game started with clear dominance from San Cristóbal, who even hit the post with a shot from Raúl Ferrer in the 4th minute. However, Peralada reacted quickly, and it was Biel who, in the 26th minute, capitalized on an assist from the right flank to beat goalkeeper Carles Segura and put the visitors ahead.
In the second half, the pattern remained the same, with San Cristóbal trying to build attacks against a well-organized CF Peralada in a low block. Coach Cristian Garcia made substitutions, bringing in forwards like Oriol Alsina to increase presence in the box, but the visiting defense proved impenetrable.
Peralada had what they wanted: an advantage on the scoreboard to defend and counterattack.
Although Peralada nearly sealed the victory with a shot from Pol in the 80th minute that forced a great save from Carles Segura, San Cristóbal had their best chances late on. Mario Canti and Konu came close to equalizing, and Jordi Ranera almost scored in the final minute, but visiting goalkeeper Arnau secured the 0-1 result. Following this defeat, CP San Cristóbal remains ninth with 25 points, eight points away from the play-off zone.
