Train services on lines R11 and R3 have been preventively suspended this Sunday morning between Figueres and Portbou, and between Vic and Ripoll, due to forecasts of strong winds.

The measure, implemented by Renfe, affects the section between Figueres and Portbou on line R11, and the route between Vic and Ripoll on line R3. Initially, the suspension was expected to last until 1 PM, but due to the evolving weather conditions, it has been extended until 4 PM.
The railway company has stated that they will monitor weather alerts to make further decisions. For affected passengers, an alternative road service has been arranged for both sections. Users are advised to follow the instructions from Protecció Civil.

Decisions will be made based on the evolution of the alerts.

Protecció Civil had already issued a strong wind alert on Saturday afternoon, targeting residents of Alt Empordà, Berguedà, Garrotxa, Ripollès, Solsonès, and northern Cerdanya, anticipating adverse weather conditions.
