According to the Meteorological Service of Catalonia, the maximum gust recorded was 127 km/h in Portbou, exceeding the danger threshold. No significant incidents have been reported as a result of this wind episode.
The Generalitat Firefighters responded to about fifteen wind-related calls, mainly in Girona, where approximately 9 calls were for fallen trees, none of which were serious.
The Rural Agents Corps collaborated in the operation, focusing on risks in rural areas and the natural environment, such as forest tracks, paths, and access to natural spaces, as well as the risk of falling trees and branches.
Coordination with CEC AT and other operational bodies was crucial for facilitating incident communication, ensuring public safety, and minimizing damage to the territory.
