The event, already established in the sports calendar of the Alt Empordà, will celebrate its eleventh edition on Sunday, February 8. The start is scheduled for 10 AM from the Municipal Swimming Pool in Vilafant.
Participants can choose between two routes: one of 5 kilometers and a more demanding one of 10 kilometers. Registration costs 11 euros for those over eleven years old and includes refreshments, featuring botifarrada (sausage) and fruit. The first 700 registered participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
All proceeds obtained will be entirely dedicated to the Cancer Association in Vilafant, maintaining the completely charitable nature of the event.
Beyond the athletic competition, the day is planned as a popular festival with activities open to all citizens. Entertainment will include the batucada group Tramuntakada, zumba sessions, a makeup workshop, music with DJ Xavi Buixó and DJ Alegre, and the closing ceremony featuring the performance by the Colla Castellera de Figueres.
