The council of Vilafant has published the list of public holidays for the year 2025. In addition to national and regional holidays, two local holidays specific to the municipality have been established.
The public holidays in Vilafant during 2025 will be: January 1st (New Year's Day), January 6th (Epiphany), April 3rd (Good Friday), April 6th (Easter Monday), May 1st (Labour Day), May 4th (first local holiday, Santa Creu), June 24th (Saint John's Day), August 15th (Assumption Day), September 11th (Catalan National Day), September 16th (second local holiday, Sant Cebrià), October 12th (Day of Hispanidad), December 8th (Immaculate Conception), December 25th (Christmas Day), and December 26th (Saint Stephen's Day).
Additionally, the council has announced that it will be exceptionally closed on December 24th and 31st of the upcoming year 2026.
