The Rodalies commuter train service remains fully suspended across all lines in Catalonia while Adif conducts an exhaustive infrastructure inspection following the R4 accident in Gelida on Tuesday.

The Minister of Territory, Sílvia Paneque, confirmed the continued suspension after the CECAT meeting, stating that circulation will not be restored until the total safety of the network is guaranteed.

"The maximum principle of safety for users and workers is what leads us to maintain the suspension of the service until further notice."
