CEO Olga Farré explained that the 42 million euro investment plan started in 2023 will be extended. This follows the 1.5 million euro cost to repair damages caused by the DANA storm last July. A new 5 million euro project to reinforce roofs and install power generators is planned through 2027.
Medical Director Noemí Pou highlighted that robotic surgery will be implemented by 2027, enhancing precision in urology and general surgery. Additionally, a home-based hospital service is set to launch in 2026, potentially serving 300 patients within a 15-minute radius of the facility.

Regarding waiting lists, the CSAPG reported that Alt Penedès surgical wait times are 10 points lower than the national average. The hospital has also achieved university status in collaboration with Rovira i Virgili University (URV), training its first full local generation of medical students.
