The move is a response to the deteriorating condition of the Teatre Casal's seating and flooring. The weekly process of moving furniture to accommodate both theatrical performances and social dancing was causing significant damage to the historic venue.

While most sessions will move to the hotel's main hall, one free monthly dance for members will still be held at the theater to maintain the tradition. The Hotel Pere III, located just a few meters away, will provide bar services and suitable facilities for the activity.
