During the ordinary plenary session held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, several key points were addressed. The Economy and Finance Area presented proposals including the approval of the 2025 general account with 28 votes in favor, and the asset inventory for the same year for the Consell Comarcal and the Consorci de Promoció Turística del Penedès.
An initial modification of credit amounting to 1,175,620.07 euros was also approved, allocated to ordinary management expenses such as Home Care Services, urgent social aid, work and training programs, and school transport. This measure received 29 votes in favor.
The modification of the staff structure incorporated a pedagogical position for the Child and Adolescent Care Team (EAIA) and a part-time administrative support position, along with another administrative role to enhance document management and electronic administration, costing approximately 42,453.39 euros. This item was unanimously approved.
Regarding the 2025-2027 Strategic Subsidy Plan, new aid lines in Social Welfare have been added for the grape harvest humanitarian shelter and for urgent social needs and energy poverty, as well as an award for the publication of historical research books on the region.
In the area of school transport, information was provided on the declaration of a tender lot as void and exceptional contract extensions with Autocars Dotor SL and Autocars Vendrell SL to ensure service continuity. The procurement process for the new school transport service for several routes was also approved, with a base tender budget of 603,115.11 euros.
The Cal Badell farmhouse, in Olesa de Bonesvalls, was declared a Local Cultural Asset (BCIL) unanimously, following a request from the City Council and with a favorable technical report from the Diputació de Barcelona. The property owner, Promotora Mediterránea-2, has expressed its agreement.
Finally, the modification of the Statutes of the Consortium for Linguistic Normalization was ratified, updating its financing regime and incorporating new members, including the Diputació de Barcelona.
