During an event in the Alt Penedès capital, Pujol received the backing of party members and local leaders. He described his candidacy as a personal long-term project intended to bring a fresh perspective to the city's governance after 25 years of the current municipal model.
“"I have experience in how to achieve excellence in adverse situations."
Pujol drew on his professional background at Rac1 and FC Barcelona to emphasize his leadership skills. He criticized the current PSC administration, led by Mayor Romero, for failing to address strategic issues such as highway access and urban cleanliness.
His proposals include a significant urban redesign, such as turning the Rambla de la Generalitat into a local version of Central Park and improving major thoroughfares like Avinguda de Barcelona.
