The Early Detection Program for Breast Cancer by the Departament de Salut invites women aged 50 to 69 for a free mammogram every two years to detect the disease in its early stages. CSAPG also reminds women to be vigilant for any changes in their breasts and to consult a healthcare professional if any suspicious signs appear.
The Breast Pathology Unit at CSAPG is accredited by the Spanish Society of Senology and Breast Pathology (SESPM), recognizing its quality standards. Furthermore, CSAPG collaborates with the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) to ensure continuity of care for patients.
