Presented by Sports Councilor Gemma Romeu, the festival focuses on 'slow gravel', a concept that combines cycling with wine tourism and local culture. The 2026 edition introduces BIKE-ART, the first national fair dedicated to non-industrial bicycle artisans, showcasing custom frames and handmade components at the Complex Aquàtic gardens.
New features include the Gravel-O orientation race and sustainable routes connecting Vilafranca with all four Catalan provincial capitals. The program also maintains popular activities like the Gravel Nit night ride and the 300km bikepacking challenge, supported by brands such as TREK and Mastinell.
Registration opens in March with tiered pricing. The event aims to position the Alt Penedès region as a premier destination for active tourism, offering improved services including a dedicated camping area and a new 'quiet camper' space for families.
