The town of Sant Jaume dels Domenys is set to host a major human towers performance this Sunday, marking the return of this Catalan tradition for the first time since 2012.

The event, titled 1a Diada Castellera Quarts Amunt, will feature the renowned Castellers de Vilafranca, Nens del Vendrell, and Castellers de Terrassa. Starting at 12:00 PM in front of the Town Hall, the teams aim to complete towers of 7 and 8 levels high.

"Having a festival close to home is good and it is a way to attract more people to enjoy the castells."

Iker Pulido · Technical staff of Nens del Vendrell
The festivities will extend throughout the day with traditional folk dances, a community lunch, and live music at the els Quatre Vents school. Local authorities hope this event will become an annual meeting point for the community, blending culture and celebration.
