The Llopart winery in Subirats has been awarded the Fire Wine seal this March 2026, recognizing its dedication to territory management and wildfire prevention.

The certification, supported by the Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC), highlights the importance of 'mosaic landscapes'. By combining vineyards, crops, and forests, Llopart creates a resilient ecosystem that helps mitigate the risk of large-scale forest fires.

"Managing the landscape is not just an environmental responsibility, but a commitment to quality and the future of our surroundings."

Pere Llopart · Technical Director
The Can Llopart estate manages 310 hectares of forest land within the Ordal Mountains. This green area captures nearly three times the carbon dioxide produced by the winery's operations, showcasing a successful integration of agriculture and environmental conservation.
