The Equality Service of the Vilafranca del Penedès City Council has opened the call for the design contest of the International Women's Day (8M) calendar, with a deadline until March 11.

The initiative, promoted by the Equality Service of the Vilafranca City Council, seeks to raise awareness about equality and women's rights. The resulting calendar will cover the period from March 2026 to February 2027.

The central motto of the contest remains “Jo soc totes” (I am all of them), a phrase emphasizing the importance of sisterhood, solidarity, and the joint struggle among women to promote equal rights and responsibilities.

Those interested in participating must submit their works to the Equality and Cooperation Service, located at Plaça Penedès, 3. It is also mandatory to send the designs in digital format to the specified email address before the deadline of March 11.
The public award ceremony and the opening of the exhibition featuring all submitted works will take place on Thursday, March 26, at 7 PM, at the youth center La Nau. The jury will consist of three professionals linked to the world of design and art.
