One month after the fatal accident in Gelida, the Rodalies network remains in a state of uncertainty with only 20 of the 91 detected critical points repaired by Adif.

The exhaustive infrastructure review, launched after the crash in the Alt Penedès region, has revealed significant fragility. While the AP-7 embankment in Gelida is fixed, the list of urgent repairs has grown to over 100 points due to stricter inspection standards.
Around 400 workers are currently deployed to secure embankments, bridges, and tunnels. This has led to a doubling of temporary speed restrictions, particularly affecting the R3 and R4 lines.

"The perverse normality."
