The Xicots de Vilafranca human tower group has officially started its season in Vilafranca del Penedès, combining technical rehearsals with community and charity events.

The group held its first general rehearsal on Friday night, focusing on the torre de vuit amb folre (a tower of eight levels with a second base). Technical staff emphasized the importance of consolidating basic structures before moving to more complex challenges in the coming months.
On Saturday, the traditional Carxofada Vermella social lunch brought together long-time members and newcomers. This event is a key part of the group's calendar to build team spirit before the main performance season begins in the Alt Penedès region.
The weekend concluded with a performance at the Maria Rosa Juncosa Municipal Auditorium. During the La Simfonia dels Herois concert, the Xicots joined the Falcons de Vilafranca to raise funds for brain cancer research through the IDIBELL Foundation.
