Following the important victory achieved last Sunday against AD Monjos (2-1), the 'Grana' side has climbed to fourth place in the table. Currently, only one point separates CF La Granada from the third-placed team, which is precisely AD Monjos (34 points to 33).
This impressive run of seven unbeaten games consists of four victories and three draws. Among the most notable results are the wins against Torrellenc (0-2), Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues (3-1), Quintinenc (1-6), and the recent Monjos (2-1), demonstrating their strength against direct rivals.
The unbeaten streak has been achieved against most direct rivals in the fight for direct promotion and the playoff spots.
Promotion aspirations mainly rely on the playoff route, given the significant distance maintained by the leaders Atlètic Vilanova and Puigdàlber. Currently, the promotion group 13 of Tercera Catalana would be formed by Puigdàlber, Monjos, CF La Granada, and Martinenca.
The club was relegated to Quarta Catalana three seasons ago and has undergone a period of restructuring. This transformation included several changes on the bench, the most recent being the sudden departure of coach Eric Roca to Atlètic Vilafranca last summer, which necessitated a quick replacement.
