The purpose of this service is to disseminate information of municipal interest, such as agenda events, public service updates, calls for applications, subsidies, discounts, and incidents affecting public roads or municipal services. Additionally, from Monday to Friday, an "infopodcast" produced by the municipal radio station, Canal 20-Ràdio Olèrdola, is broadcast, summarizing the day's news.
The Town Hall reminds citizens that other public communication channels are available for more detailed coverage of events and political decisions. These include the municipal radio station, the "Olèrdola Informació" newsletter, a weekly electronic news digest, social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), and the news section on the municipal website.
The WhatsApp service operates on a one-way basis, preventing user interaction. To activate it, individuals must register through the form available on the municipal website and add the number 667 851 138 to their mobile contacts.
