The Youth Department of Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues has opened the period for submitting proposals for youth participatory budgets, allocated with €1,000 for activities or investments decided by the town's young people.

Young residents registered in Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues, aged between 12 and 18 years old, have the opportunity to directly participate in municipal management. This initiative aims to reinforce the values of participatory democracy by allocating a portion of municipal resources to their ideas.
Starting from October 26th, proposals for activities or investments can be submitted, such as acquiring materials for the town or the Espai Jove (Youth Space), or organizing events. Proposals must be technically viable, fit within the allocated budget of €1,000, and be well-developed. The individuals or groups proposing them will need to be involved in their execution, with support from the Youth Service.
To submit proposals, a form must be completed, available on the Espai Jove Instagram account (espaijovestcugatsesgarrigues) or the City Council's website (santcugatsesgarrigues.cat/ajuntament/espai-jove/). The submission deadline is November 13th.
If multiple proposals are received, a youth assembly will be convened on Wednesday, November 18th in the afternoon, at the Espai Jove, to discuss and vote on the option to be implemented.
