Vilafranca offers family scavenger hunt for Easter

'Searching for Easter Eggs' activity invites families to discover local birds until April 6th.

During the Easter holidays, Vilafranca del Penedès is offering a fun and educational activity for the whole family, the 'Searching for Easter Eggs' scavenger hunt, which will allow participants to discover the birds of the town's natural surroundings until April 6th.

This proposal consists of a circular route of approximately 4 kilometers that starts and ends at the Vilafranca Tourist Office, located at Hermenegild Clascar Street, 2. Once the route is completed, participants can collect a gift at the same location.
The activity encourages families to take advantage of the holidays to walk through Vilafranca's natural environment, searching for clues and learning interesting facts about the birds that nest there. It also includes a search for hidden eggs, adding a playful element especially designed for younger children.
The explanatory leaflet for the game can be downloaded in advance from the municipal website to facilitate participation. The Tourist Office's opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM, and on Sundays and holidays from 10 AM to 1 PM.
In addition to this initiative, the Tourist Office also offers other self-guided proposals to enjoy the surroundings as a family, such as La Motxilla naturalista, which includes materials for nature activities in the Sant Pau mountain, and itineraries like the Camí del Vi, Entre Vinyes, or the gamified game A la recerca dels Vitis.
