Alt Urgell boosts summer hiring with new Jobdating event

La Seu d'Urgell will host rapid interviews between companies and candidates on March 31 to strengthen the local labor market.

The Economic Promotion department of the Alt Urgell County Council is organizing a new Jobdating event on March 31 at the CETAP in La Seu d'Urgell to stimulate summer employment.

The event, held at Plaça de les Monges from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, takes place during the Easter school holidays. This timing aims to encourage participation from students seeking their first work experience or seasonal summer jobs.
The format consists of speed interviews to directly link businesses with potential employees. Companies can post their vacancies until March 15, while candidates can register for interviews from March 16 to 27.
Additionally, free training sessions will be offered prior to the event. These include workshops on using Artificial Intelligence for job hunting and resume building, as well as strategic social media communication for local businesses.
